Service Description: This published web map service depicts the location and extent of all approved Concurrency Service Areas by the Lake County School Board and adopted by the Lake County Board of County Commissions pursuant to Rule 9J-5, Part 9J-5.0055, Florida Administrative Code and Chapter 163, Florida Statutes. These rules require that a adopted level of service (LOS), which for Public School Facilities is based on the “Core Dining Capacity”. CSA are an integral part of establishing school capacity assessments conducted by the School District, which determines whether adequate school capacity exists for a proposed development, based on LOS standards, Concurrency Service Areas (CSA), and other standards stipulated in the “First Amended Interlocal Agreement Between Lake County and Lake County School Board and Siting.” CSA contain their representative schools which are utilized to determine whether or not adequate capacity will not be in place or under actual residential construction within three (3) years after the issuance of final subdivision or site plan approval and mitigation is not an acceptable alternative.
