This published web map service represents the location of the established boundaries of the resident member districts for each of the five school board members. With the completion of the 2010 Census and outlined in F.S. 1001.36, sections 1,2 and 3, the School Board Member redistricting process has been completed. The process started with the School Board Workshop on July 18, 2011 wherein the plan development phase was discussed and practical guidelines were presented. These guidelines were used by the working group in the development of redistricting options were ultimately presented to the School Board. This interactive map represents the results of the School Board's final boundary decision at their meeting of their meeting of September 26th, 2012 and the members elected following the November 2014 & 2016 Lake County election. |
