Service Description: This published web map service represents the Lake County GIS city (or corporate) limits dataset that is a representation of all individual annexations made by the municipalities within Lake County, Florida as transmitted by the respective cities and provided to the Lake County GIS Department for aggregation into a county-wide layer representation. This GIS layer was obtained from the Lake County GeoHub website managed by the Lake County Geographic Information Services Department at the following URL: https://geohub-lcgis.opendata.arcgis.com/ The purpose of this map services is to act as backdrop information for reference purposes only for school staff and the general public to assist in locating site specific residential locations in reference to District layers. It is also utilized to assist School Clerks, Pupil Accounting Staff and Transportation Staff with the location and extent of subdivisions on interest.
